We LOVE visitors here in Sudan.
South Sudan is still very under developed and not for the faint of heart. No running water, no electricity, tent camping in the bush… it is an extreme missions experience. But we’d love to share our world with you and we know this: no one leaves the same. Our Yei base often tent camps visitors (who bring their own very waterproof tents with excellent rain flies) for up to a ten day initial visit.
It is an extreme environment so first timers here, we kindly ask you keep your first visit down to 10 days on the ground with us. That lets us all get to know each other and you to return to running water, electricity and a semblance of privacy before you get totally overwhelmed with rainy season mud in your tent. It really works out best this way.
Our visitors fold into compound life and activities, hang out with and love our children, worship with us, are welcome on most of our planned local outreaches and just come journey with us as we walk with Him here. We are SO excited to welcome you!
